Just got a note from the mail server administration saying that due to a and b most of the e-mails I received over last weekend are possibly gone for good. They're probably right - nothing much has appeared during those two days. But unless you know exactly that you were expecting an important message from person X, the information that you've lost every message cannot possibly be of great value, can it? I wasn't expecting anything particular, so I'd rather not know that even if I had, I wouldn't have got it.
